“My upbringing in the countryside in Co. Westmeath, surrounded by fields, trees and flowers has had a profound effect on my development as an artist. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, the curve of a leaf, the fragility of a petal, reflections in water, patterns, and above all colour. My style is fluid. My work in oils tends to be bold and exuberant. My prints are often more subtle and delicate. When etching, I favour techniques such as sugar lift and spit biting which generate a painterly effect, testament to my background as a painter”
Noelle currently lives in Dublin with her husband and 12 year old son. She paints in her studio at home, as well as printmaking in the Graphic Studio workshop.
