Maria Atanackovic

Maria Atanackovic is a Visual Artist currently living and working in Dublin, Ireland. She holds a First Class honours degree from London College of Communication, graduating in 2008 with a specialism in Printed Textiles.

Central to her work is the interplay between object and space, co-existence, interdependence and belonging. Maria primarily works in the medium of screenprint. By combining graphic visual elements, she forms new connections and reimagines interactions. Ultimately, Maria creates new, abstract worlds through her playful visual language.

Maria is a full-time member of Graphic Studio Dublin where she also works as a screenprint tutor. Her work has been commissioned by the Dean and Leinster Hotels and she has exhibited widely. In addition to her fine art practice, Maria continues to work in the field of textiles and surface design. Her prints and patterns have been used on a wide range of products such as home decor, stationery, fabric and more.
