John Graham is interested in "the peculiar materiality" of a print, and how its status as a reflective object impacts upon its meaning and reception. Built up from layers of deeply etched lines and crosshatched marks, Graham's new etchings employ devices familiar from the history of intaglio printmaking to make contemporary works that combine graphic austerity with a pronounced physical presence. As well as Printmaking he is involved in a range of artistic activities including curatorial projects and writing. Graham has exhibited regularly in Japan since 1997. His recent solo exhibition 'Phase', 2012, was at the Green on Red Gallery, Dublin.

Richard Gorman RHA exhibits new lithographs and gouaches on Echizen Kozo Washi paper, handmade by Gorman at Iwaho Heizaburo paper works in Imadate Fukui Japan. These images maintain his distinctive colour palette and formal qualities, where he composes dynamic, interlocking solid blocks of colour that co-exist and communicate within the pictorial space. Gorman exhibits regularly in Dublin, Paris, Milan and Tokyo. Solo exhibitions include Kerlin Gallery Dublin 2011, Mitaka City Museum of Art Tokyo and Ashikaga City Museum of Art Japan (2010). He is member of RHA and Aosdána.

Takahiko Hayashi diligently works at creating masterfully bold abstractions, usually with vibrant color. His work has a mystical quality and the titles reflect interest in philosophy and natural phenomena. For this show, Hayashi has taken inspiration from the exhibition title, "Kura", meaning Treasure House, and the way in which feelings in words enhance communication. Takahiko Hayashi is one of Tokyo's most well regarded contemporary master printers. Over the course of his nearly 30-year career, he has exhibited widely throughout Japan, the United States and Europe.

Abstract artist Yoko Hara's fine line etchings are full of shapes and colors, where she combines a variety of print techniques such as aquatint and drypoint. Hara work represents a visual diary of her life experiences and takes inspiration from books, films and her travels in Asia. In 2006, she came to Dublin on the Japanese Government's overseas study program for artists. Hara exhibits in USA, Canada and through out Japan. Her work is included in permanent collections at the Cleveland Museum of Art, USA and the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art, Israel.
