Culture Night 2014

For Culture Night 2014, Graphic Studio Gallery are hosting a letterpress printing and bookmaking workshop with artists Mary Plunkett and Eilis Murphy. As well as learning about the wonderful art of the book, you will leave with your very own creation!

Demonstrations will begin at 6:30PM, with a second round at 8PM. They will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants for each. In between these, the artists will talk about their process and show samples of their work. Artist Mary Plunkett is using 'If Ever You Go', the One City One Book from this year and will select a short excerpt to work with which people can print on the night. Then artist Eilis Murphy will show you how to bind your letterpress print, using watercolours to finish your beautiful book.
