Oona Hyland works primarily in print, sculpture and video installations. She studied Printmaking Postgrad at the Slade School of Art, London. M.A in Philosophy from Queens University Belfast and an MPhil in History of Art from Trinity College Dublin. An Ernie O Malley Award winner she has exhibited at The Hugh Lane Gallery Dublin, Royal Ulster Academy Belfast, The Ashmolean Museum Oxford. Recent residencies include Aga Lab N.L, BKN Sweden, Edition Basel and TYPA Museum Estonia. In 2021 shortlisted for On Paper International Print Prize and elected to the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers. A member of Graphic Studio Dublin and 9 Dragonheads Artists Group. Hyland recently completed an M.A in Art Research and Collaboration at IADT Dublin.
