Variations on a Theme II
Cliona Doyle, Niamh Flanagan, Kelvin Mann & James McCreary
This exhibition evolved last year when a number of artists came together to showcase the prints that they had been making over a period of time. The journey that the artist takes to create a body of work can take many years as the artist explores, discovers and develops a theme or an idea. Over months, years or decades these prints have been exhibited individually and for this exhibition the series was shown as a collective.

New works by Grainne Cuffe
'The sensuous curves of the open flower, curious form of the bud, and gossamer threads of the seedhead have captured my vision and attention over time. Drawing the essence of a plant, as opposed to the scientifically botanical is my modus operandum. To look into the quite ordinary, you can find the truly beautiful."
Grainne Cuffe will give a talk as part of National Drawing Day 2014 on Saturday 17th May 2014, 1.30pm.
Booking for this talk is essential, email: gallery@graphicstudiodublin.com or phone 01 679 8021
